How to deactivate Local-mode and Safe-mode in B1if (SAP B1)?

When you are trying to access Integration Framework service outside the local network B1if gives you an error “XCL198 HTTP-access currently not allowed from remote clients, as B1ip runs in local-moe or safe-mode” means B1if setup for local network only. Remote Client cannot access the services.

To Allow the remote client to access B1if you need to change local-mode and safe-mode setting in

“xcellerator.cfg” file.

How to deactivate Local-mode and Safe-mode?

If your B1IF installation path is “C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP Business One Integration”, then look for the file named “xcellerator.cfg” in the path “C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP Business One Integration\IntegrationServer\Tomcat\webapps\B1iXcellerator”.

Open the file in any editor like notepad++. Search for the property “xcl.http.localOnly=true”. Change the true to false and save the file. For safe mode search for the property “xcl.safemode=true”. Change it to false and save the file.

Restart the integration service and it should work.
